Morning Cottage

(Sleeps 6)

With stunning views of Porthgwidden beach, this fabulous three-bedroom cottage is full of character and ideal for families.

Nestled in a peaceful terrace in old St. Ives, it is just a few minutes’ walk from the Tate Gallery and Porthmeor beach, where you can bodyboard and take surfing lessons, or watch the surfers from the comfort of the wonderful beachside restaurant and bar (with heated outdoor booths!). Also close by are the harbour, shops and a choice of fabulous restaurants.

The cottage’s raised garden and patio catch the sun all day long, and an outdoor shower makes trips to the beach even easier. Other handy facilities include a parking space (or two by arrangement), second toilet room, washer/dryer, beach gear, and a good selection of books and boardgames.

Trewartha is a modernised fisherman’s cottage situated in the Downalong, the oldest residential part of St. Ives.

This cosy two-bedroom cottage is ideally located in a quiet street right in the heart of the town, with its quaint cobbled streets, art galleries (including the Tate Gallery), restaurants and shops.

All St. Ives’ beautiful sandy beaches with water sports schools and award-winning cafés are a short stroll from the cottage, as is the busy harbour, where fishermen still land their daily catch, and boat rides are available to see the seals or to try your hand at fishing.

It is an ideal choice for a family holiday or getaway for couples, and well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay too (so they can also enjoy the fantastic beach walks and coastal paths — and being with you of course!)
